HOW RELEVANT IS PRODUCT TRAINING?



This question often clicks our mind whether in Operations or Sales Team. Do we need product Training? How relevant it is? What are the returns? Will it increase my sales? Is it worth investing?
Relevant they are and impact is also pretty evident in organizations

Whether you train them or not they are still going to learn some features and sell products to your customers
Points to Ponder
  1. Confusion & important doubts about product not cleared
  2. Wrong Information passed on to the customer
  3. Chances of wrong commitment
  4. Sales men saying different things about the same product
  5. Loss of reputation to the brand
  6. They sell brands which they are comfortable with
  7. Mention limited features to customers
  8. Avoid selling products which are not clear
  9. Doubts about Guarantee/Warranty terms & Condition
  10. After Sales Service details clarity low
  11. Not fully informed & capable of handling customer Complaints
  12. Low understanding of Selling Skills
Point is they will still sell. However if we love to see the sales figure shoot higher
